Capabilities
From load calculations to permit set, in your standards
What we engineer
Mechanical
Block and room-by-room loads in Carrier HAP. Equipment selection, duct and hydronic sizing, ventilation to ASHRAE 62.1.
Electrical
Service and feeder sizing to NEC Article 220, one-line diagrams, panel schedules, voltage drop checks, photometrics to IES levels.
Plumbing
Fixture unit counts and pipe sizing per IPC or UPC, pressure calcs, sanitary and vent risers, storm sizing to local rainfall intensity.
Civil & structural
Site utility routing, invert coordination, grading and drainage, structural framing coordination via our extended team.
How we deliver it
AutoCAD drafting
Sheet sets to your layer standards, xref structure, title blocks and CTB plot styles. Native DWGs back.
Revit & BIM
LOD 300–400 in your template, with your families, worksets, view templates and shared parameters.
Coordination
Navisworks clash detection by discipline pair, resolved in the model, with an issue log you can audit.
QA/QC & code review
Discipline lead, then senior engineer, against IBC, IMC, IPC, NEC, IECC and the AHJ’s local amendments.
Specialist work most firms send outside
Power systems studies
Short circuit and fault current, protective device coordination, arc flash to IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E with equipment labels, and harmonic analysis to IEEE 519. Modeled and reported by our own electrical engineers.
Energy code compliance, any state
COMcheck for IECC and ASHRAE 90.1 jurisdictions, Title 24 Part 6 documentation for California, and Florida energy code forms. Worked to the edition your AHJ has adopted, forms completed for your seal.

We don't just draw what you send us.
If a duct route won’t fit above the ceiling, a panel is undersized, or a fixture count fails IPC, you get a
redline and a proposed fix — not a drawing of the problem. We flag it. You decide what to do with it.
Reviewing your input is part of the scope, not an extra.
HOW WE WORK
We work inside your standards, not around them
Bringing in an outside engineering team should not create new risk. Here is how the engagement is structured.
Your seal, your client
Your PE remains engineer of record and retains professional responsibility. We do not seal drawings, hold your client relationship, or compete for your work. Non-solicitation is in the agreement.
Your file format, your standards
AutoCAD or Revit, whichever you work in. If you have documented standards we work in them; if you don’t, we use ours. Either way you get native files back and consistent output.
Two-stage QA/QC before you see it
Discipline lead first, then a senior engineer against the governing code edition and the AHJ's amendments. You receive a checked package, not a first draft.
NDA before anything moves
Mutual NDA before the first file transfers. Files live on your ACC or BIM 360, or in our controlled environment. You own the model, the drawings and everything in them.

CLIENT TRUST & TESTIMONIALS
What U.S. MEP Firm Principals Say
Read how leading engineering leadership teams rely on NexMEP Global as their trusted production extension.
"NexMEP has been an essential extension of our MEP team. They integrated directly into our Revit templates and U.S. drafting standards without any friction. Their clash detection saved us over $100k in field rework on a major Chicago high-rise."
"Finding high-quality MEP engineers who understand local U.S. codes (IBC, NEC, ASHRAE 170) is extremely challenging. NexMEP provided us with a dedicated 6-person Revit team that enabled us to take on three major hospital projects simultaneously."

Engagement models, turnaround, data handling and the questions principals ask
Lump-sum, block hours or a dedicated team. Two-stage QA/QC. What happens when the architect reissues
backgrounds, when a date is at risk, and how to end an engagement and get your files back. All of it written down
rather than left to a call.
Questions principals ask
Worth asking before you send us anything
What if there's an error in your work?
We correct it at our cost and on priority, whenever it surfaces — your review, plan review comments, or the field. No argument about who pays.
What happens when the architect reissues backgrounds?
We re-link and report the impact before doing the work. If it affects sheets already complete, you get a written adjustment to fee and date for approval first.
We're still on AutoCAD. Is that a problem?
No. A large share of the firms we work with are 2D CAD. We match your layer standards, xrefs, title block and plot styles and return native DWGs.
Who is the engineer of record?
You are. We do not seal drawings. Your PE retains professional responsibility on every package, and the agreement says so in writing.
What are your hours?
Calls in your morning, 8–11 AM Central, or your evening — whichever suits. Every email answered within one U.S. business day.
Will you approach our clients?
No. Non-solicitation is written into the agreement. We work behind your firm, never alongside it and never in front of it.
Send us a set of drawings.
You’ll have a lump-sum proposal within 24 hours. No call required first, and a
mutual NDA is available before you send anything.
